Chassis:
One of 143 Speedsters built, this example was acquired by Glenn Pray in the early 1980s in unrestored condition. Pray was the president of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club at the time. In 2016, it was acquired by an enthusiast who had the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Company sympathetically restore the Auburn to the colour-scheme as used by the four cars shown in the 150-stop cross-country White Caravan tour in 1935. The restoration was personally supervised by Glenn Pray’s son Doug. The work was completed in July of 2023, and it was shown later in the year at the Hershey AACA National Meet where it won a First Place award. Early in 2024, it was consigned to the Gooding Amelia Island Auctions.
