Chassis:
Completed in the summer of 1937 and painted white, this 6CM was acquired new by German racer Herbert Berg. He raced the car in several events like the 1938 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring until his untimely death, in a non racing related accident, later that year. It was subsequently acquired by Frenchman Roger Deho. He was a coachbuilder by trade and modified the 6CM bodywork to resemble that of the latest Maserati 4CL. Repainted red, chassis 1548 was then raced in the 1946 Grand Prix de Nice. Never fully restored, the 6CM spent time in Sweden before it was part of a prominent collection from the late 1980s through to the mid 2010s. In subsequent Dutch hands, it was shown and raced at a variety of events, including the 2021 and 2022 editions of the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
