Chassis:
One of the very last T292s built, this example was sold new to Jan van Straaten. He originally raced the car in the Dutch championship under the Racing Team Basita. During the following seasons, he continued to campaign the car in a variety of events like the Interserie championship. By the mid-1980s, the contemporary racing career was over and van der Straaten almost seamlessly switched to historic racing. After he passed away, his son eventually sold the very tired T292 to a Belgian collector. He had been interested in the car for quite some time and placed it in his private museum for many years. Untouched since its long racing career had ended, it was acquired by a, fittingly, Dutch historic racer in 2006. Many years later, he had the car comprehensively rebuilt by Belgian specialists Mec Auto and first raced the car in the summer of 2024.
