Chassis:
The sixth and final DN1 built, this example was first raced at the 1973 German Grand Prix by Jackie Oliver. After starting 17th on the grid, Oliver moved up the order to finish eighth. Chassis 6A was then used by George Follmer, who retired early from the Austrian Grand Prix with a differential issue. Oliver was back behind the wheel for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Englishman only managed the 14th time in qualifying but had a great race to finish third. After two more outings with the Shadow Racing Team, it was raced by Lella Lombardi in the Shellsport G8 Championship. Following its contemporary racing career, it was eventually restored and prepared for historic racing by Hall & Hall.
