Chassis:
Completed in the summer of 1967, this is only the 37th Miura produced. It was acquired new by an American living in Italy. He toured the continent with the car before shipping it back with him to the United States. Shortly upon arriving Stateside, he sadly passed away and the Miura spent many years on display in a museum. In 1978, it was acquired by an enthusiast who would go on to own the car for nearly four decades. At that time, it had a mere 2,464 miles on the odometer. He used the car as intended and drove almost every weekend during his ownership, accruing over 33,000 miles. Fastidiously maintained but not yet restored, it was eventually sold to the third private owner by Bonhams in 2015. The next custodian had the car meticulously restored and from 2017 onwards, it was shown with great success at major events across North America. Having owned the car the Miura for a decade, the third owner from new consigned it to Bonhams again, for the Arizona sale early in 2025.
