Chassis:
The 19th Giulietta SZ built, this example was sold new to Switzerland through Società per Il Commercio Alfa Romeo in Lugano. In 1964, it was acquired from the original owner by Kurt Lautenschlager. He sent the car to specialist Ivo Zarri where it was upgraded with a Conrero camshaft. The car was subsequently raced by Silvio Moser in the Coppa Intereuropa at Monza and competed in several local hill climbs. Still in highly original condition, it was sold to another Swiss enthusiast in 1980. He carefully maintained the car and documented the work carried out in great detail. He would go on to own the car for over 40 years and until it was brought of hiding by Historic Cars of Paris in the summer 2024. Never restored, it was subsequently shown at the 2024 Chantilly Arts & Elegance in the preservation class.
