Chassis:
One of 16 F430 GTC competition cars built by Michelotto for the 2007 season, this one was sold new to JMB Racing. It was fielded in select events during the 2007 season for Joe Macari and Ben Aucott. For the Sebring 12 Hours, they were joined by Rob Wilson, while their co-driver at the 24 Hours of Le Mans was then Red Bull Racing chief engineer Adrian Newey. The British trio finished 22nd overall and fourth in the GT2 category. Aucott continued to race the car with a serious of co-drivers in 2008, sharing with the likes of Alain Ferté. In 2009, JMB fielded the car primarily for John Hartshorne and it was entered for its third 24 Hours of Le Mans. Retired from competition after the 2009 season, it eventually made its way to one of its original drivers; Adrian Newey. The legendary engineer had the car returned to its 2007 Le Mans livery and prepared for historic racing by specialists Pastorelli Classic Cars.
