Chassis:
This Le Mans Replica was acquired new by American J. Stuart Donaldson. He personally drove the car from his New York home to Sebring where it was entered for Harry Grey and Frank Del Roy in the 1952 Sebring 12 Hours. It was the first edition of the race but still attracted in formidable field that included Jaguar XK120s and a Ferrari 166 MM. The Frazer Nash held its own and won the race outright with a five lap margin over the second placed Jaguar. Donaldson entered the car at Sebring again the following year but an issue ended the charge early. By the end of the 1950s, it placed into long-term storage. After being hidden away for six decades, the Sebring-winning Frazer Nash finally emerged again in 2018. Chassis 160 was then entrusted to marque expert Patrick Blakeney-Edwards for a restoration to its 1952 configuration. Not seen in public since the late 1950s, it was consigned to the 2025 Gooding Amelia Island Auctions.
