Chassis:
The first new car built for the 2001 season, this car debuted at the Jarama European Le Mans Series round with Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen at the wheel. The Italian and Danish duo qualified on pole position and then scored a debut win with 501. They repeated that feat at Sears Point American Le Mans Series round. Raced twice more that year, it could do no better than fifth at Portland. For the 2002 season, it was sold to the Audi Sport Japan Team Goh to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Hiroki Katou, Yannick Dalmas and Seiji Ara started 15th and then finished the race in seventh. Katou and Seiji Ara then also raced the car in the Suzuka 1000 km where they started from pole but failed to reach the finish. In 2008, it was acquired by noted collector Aaron Hsu and restored to its 2001 configuration with the livery of the #2 Le Mans entry. It was used on track several times before it was sold again. Not seen for many years, it was consigned to Fiskens for the 2025 Retromobile display.
