Chassis:
Originally finished in Rosso Corsa over a bleu interior, this late production Miura SV was fitted from new with the rare split-sump lubrication system. It was delivered to its first owner through the Modena Car dealership. The subsequent early history is not known but the car resurfaced in California during the 1980s when it was owned by dentist Norman Baker. By that time, it had been painted blue. It was later repatriated to Europe and was acquired by a Portuguese museum in 2003. By 2012, it was sold back to the United States with the help of marque expert Gary Bobileff. He carried out a mechanical refresh and a re-paint to its original colour configuration. In 2016, it was named ‘Best Lamborghini’ during the Concorso Italiano where the 50th anniversary of the Miura was celebrated. In 2025, it was consigned as one of the headliners of the inaugural RM Sotheby’s Milan sale.
