Chassis:
Produced ahead of the 2010 season, this was one of eleven wide-body F430 GTCs produced. It was ordered new by the Scott Sharp’s newly created Extreme Speed Motorsports team. It was raced during 2010 American Le Mans Series by Sharp himself, who was joined by regular co-driver Johannes van Overbeek and, for the long distance events, by Dominik Farnbacher. The best result was a second in class in the Petit Le Mans where all three drove. Chassis 2644’s final contemporary appearance came at the official Sebring Test in February of 2011. In 2012, it was acquired by a long term owner. In 2016 and 2017, it was raced in the HSR Championship, scoring a class win in the historic Sebring 12 Hours. It has since been repainted Rosso Corsa before it was consigned to the 2025 Gooding Christies Pebble Beach Auctions.
