Chassis:
Chassis XP3 is believed to be the final of the three test and development chassis built to hone the T.50s before it entered production. Near identical to the final specification, it was run extensively at the Bahrain International Circuit for the Production Approval Test. Driven by official test driver and three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, it set a lap time of 1:53.03. According to Gordon Murray Automotive this is a full seven seconds faster than the GT3 benchmark. During the test, the four-time Indycar champion exceeded 184 mph and reached a lateral cornering force of 2.7G.
