Chassis:
Originally constructed as a 360 Challenge in 2000, this chassis raced once, during the 2000 Spa Ferrari Days for Ferrari UK, before it was sold to the Prancing Horse Racing Team from Merlbourne, Australia. It was immediately sent to Michelotto where it was upgraded to N-GT specification. Once the work was completed, in February of 2002 , it received the Michelotto serial number 011M. The upgraded car was immediately shipped to Australia and debuted in a support race for the 2002 Australian Grand Prix. It was then driven to victory in race two of the Clipsal 500 Nations Cup Meeting at Adelaide by John Bowe. Chassis 011M was subsequently repatriated and acquired by Team Veloqx in the United Kingdom. Here it was fitted with a Hewland NLT six-speed gearbox to bring it up to 360 GTC specification. It was subsequently raced in the for two seasons in the British GT Championship by the likes of Calum Lockie, Tim Sugden, Andrew Kirkaldy and Guy Smith. Following its contemporary racing career, it moved back ‘Down Under’ once again and spent many years in a private Merlbourne collection. By the mid-2010s, it made its way back to the United Kingdom, resplendent in its 2003 Team Veloqx colours. In full running order, the Ferrari 360 GT was consigned to the 2026 RM Sotheby’s Woodcote Park Auction.
