Chassis:
George Arents, who was one of the founding backers of Luigi Chinetti's North American Racing Team (NART), acquired this 250 GT late in 1957. Arents raced the car himself but also fielded the car as a NART entry for the 1958 Sebring 12 Hours, where Paul O'Shea, Bruce Kessler and David Cunningham won the GT class. Following a successful 1958 season, Arents sold the car to Chinetti. Following spells in Italy, France, Belgium and Germany, it is today part of a British private collection. The current owner had it raced at the 2013 and 2015 Goodwood Revival by RM Sotheby's Max Girardo.
