Chassis:
Equipped with covered headlights, this 3-Louvre 250 GT was sold new to an Italian enthusiast. He raced the car with some success in local events before selling it on to another Italian based racer. He continued to campaign the car through to the end of 1959. Following brief spells in Portugal and the United States, it was in Italian ownership until 1990. After being briefly owned by Spyker CEO Victor Muller, it was extensively raced by American collector Peter LeSaffre. It is today owned by another American enthusiast.
