Chassis:
Through Franco Brittanic Autos ltd. this example was sold new to its first French owner early in 1961. Finished in steel, it came equipped with covered headlights and the today very desirable hardtop. The car changed several times but remained in France until 1996 when it joined a Geneva, Switzerland-based collection. The current owner, a prominent Ferrari collector, acquired the California Spyder in 2002. Following a meticulous restoration to the demanding owner's very high standards, it has since been successfully shown at various events while also being used on the road. Most notably, it won its class at both Pebble Beach and Villa d'Este.
