Chassis:
The second of three works 250 TRs built in 1958, chassis 0728TR scored only one major victory, but it was the one that counted; the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the hands of Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien. Subsequently part of Pierre Bardinon's vast Mas du Clos collection, it was entered in the 2006 Goodwood Revival where Phil Hill's career was celebrated. It was driven around the track several times, but all of us present will remember the Sunday demo in particular when the legendary driver took his Le Mans winning car for a drive himself. Since then, it joined a prominent Hong Kong-based collection. Chassis 0728TR has since been shown at Pebble Beach twice and also returned to Goodwood in 2022 where it was part of Ferraris 75th anniversary celebrations.
