Chassis:
This is the first of two BT7s built, which was raced by Dan Gurney in 1963 and 1964. In the car's second season the American managed to score Brabham's first two Grand Prix wins. Its final outings came in 1965 in the hands of Denny Hulme. For many years this car has been in the stable of an American historic racer, who was actually at the 1964 French Grand Prix where Dan Gurney took Brabham's first Grand Prix victory. Following in the footsteps of his legendary compatriot, he has raced the car with great success, taking victories at Goodwood and Monaco.
