This is one of the earliest Chevrons produced and probably the second B6 off the 'line'. It was delivered new to Peter Taggart complete with a BMW engine. He raced the car throughout the 1967 season and even made an appearance in the Nurburgring 1000 km race that year. Unfortunately he had to retire due to brake failure. It subsequently passed through several hands before being acquired by the current owner. He has since campaigned the car with a lot of success in historic events. Chevron B6 chassis DBE2 is seen here in action during the 2004 Le Mans Classic and the 2005 Silverstone Classic.
