Chassis:
This is the first of two Penske PC3s built as a stop-gap for John Watson. He used the car in four races with a fifth place finish as the best result. Today the car is owned by an American enthusiast, who also has Watson's Grand Prix winning PC4 in his collection. Beautifully prepared, he regularly races the car in events on both sides of the Atlantic. During the 2008 Monaco Historic Grand Prix, he had PC3/001 raced by professional Paul Edwards and he promptly won his race, beating among others, the sister PC3.
