This was the original P34 prototype that was constructed in great secrecy in the fall of 1975. Built mainly to test designer Derek Gardner's theories, it consisted of a modified 007 tub and an even older rear end. It was shown to a stunned audience during the official reveal at the Heathrow Hilton in September of 1975. In the following months it was extensively tested but eventually it was not raced. Still in completely original condition, complete with the 1976 bodywork, it has long since been owned by the Sinsheim museum in Germany where it is pictured here. (Source: Oldracingcars.com)
