Chassis:
Ronnie Peterson's ride in the final races of the 1977, chassis P34/6 was only used only six times in period. The Swede's best result was fifth at the Austrian Grand Prix. More recently it has been much more active in the hands of historic racing ace Martin Stretton. Once he had convinced Avon to construct bespoke 10-inch tyres and with initial help from Derek Gardner, there was virtually no stopping Stretton. During the last decade he has taken victories in the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, including the 2006 event where he is pictured above, and also became the Thoroughbred Grand Prix champion in P34/6.
