Chassis 718-076 ranks among the most successful of the fourteen RS 61s produced by Porsche. In 1963 it was driven to the European Hillclimb Championship title by Herbert Muller. A year later Davie Grous used the same car to win the South African Sports Car Championship. Like many 1950s and 1960s, this Porsche eventually ended up in the United States. Today it is part of a Porsche enthusiast, who regularly campaigns the car in historic events.
