This is the one-off Porsche 961 produced ahead of the 1986 season. It was raced just three times with a seventh and a class victory at the 1986 24 Hours of Le Mans as the best result. The car's career came to a premature at Le Mans a year later when Kees Nierop spun and hit the barriers at a considerable pace. The unique 961 virtually burnt to the ground and although it was eventually repaired, never raced again. Since then it has been retired to the Porsche Museum and makes rare outings for events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
