Chassis:
Chassis HU06 was one of a total of three T600s supplied to Ted Field's Interscope team, who famously ran their cars with the start number 0. Fitted with a Chevrolet V8, the car was raced extensively in 1982. Field was behind the wheel throughout the season, at times joined by Danny Ongais and Bill Whittington. Together they scored many podium finishes and a total of three victories in HU06. Fitted with a Chevrolet V6 Turbo engine, the car was raced at the 1983 Daytona 24 Hours but it retired very early on with a blown turbocharger. It was then retired from contemporary racing and has since been restored to its original, and most successful configuration. In this guise it is seen here in action during the 2011 Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
