Chassis:
Chassis '001' was the very first complete 33 constructed, which is believed to have been used for the victorious debut at Fleron. Alfa Romeo's racing records are sketchy at best but we also understand that the car was at least also campaigned at the Le Mans trials. In 1986 the current owner acquired the car in very original condition but without the body. He has carefully restored it to its debut configuration and even switched the engine back to Weber carburettor configuration. He has since used the first 33 mostly for demonstrations and is seen here in action during the 2009 and 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
