Chassis:
Completed late in 1957, it took almost two years before chassis 0718TR was first raced. Entered by John von Neumann, Pedro Rodriguez finally debuted the car in July of 1959. Later that year the subsequent owner, Gordon Glyer scored the car's first victory. In the mid 1960s the V12 engine was replaced by an easier to maintain Chevrolet V8. In recent years, the original engine was fitted back into the 250 TR. Now owned by a Canadian collector and historic racer, it is regularly exercised. It is seen here at the 2006 Cavallino Classic and also at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
