Built in Springfield, this Rolls-Royce Phantom I was bought by Alfred Chapin as a christmas gift for his wife Gloria. The car was clothed by Murphy with a Convertible Coupe that cost nearly as much as the $14,000 chassis. The design was personalised with Gloria Chapin's initials added to the engine cover and running board and a place for a photo of her children on the gearshift lever. Over eighty years after being first delivered, this unique Rolls-Royce starred at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where it won 'Best in Class'.
