Chassis:
The original Cuban owner raced chassis 0722TR in the 1958 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He failed to finish the race and subsequently sold to the car to the United States, where most 250 TRs ended up. Here it was raced by 'Lucky' Casner in 1959 with some success. Its next owner also managed to score several victories. It has been in the collection of the current owner for nearly two decades. In recent years, he has raced the car in the Monterey Historics numerous times.
