Chassis:
First sold to an Austrian amateur racer, 0748TR was involved in a big crash during the 1958 Nurburgring 1000 km race, killing driver Erwin Bauer. The wreck was sent back to Ferrari, who rebuilt the car and sold it to North America. It was raced again but with little success. The 250 TR remained in the United States and was eventually bought by its current owner in 2002. He has since regularly campaigned and shown it in historic events like the Cavallino Classic and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
