Chassis:
The featured 1948 Delahaye 135 MS is equipped with a Cabriolet body penned by little known Parisian designer Faget-Varnet and built by Gramond in Bordeaux. The two companies produced another, slightly different, Cabriolet and also a Coupe. The pictured example was a concours winner in its day and after a thorough restoration returned to its winning ways in 2008 when it scored a 'Best in Class' in the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
