The second Mirage M2 produced, chassis M2/300/02 was raced in the opening races of the 1969 World Championship. Following outings at Brands Hatch and Spa, it was sold to Jo Siffert along with its sister car but never appeared in a contemporary event again. Still fitted with the four-valve BRM V12 engine, it eventually ended up in American hands. During a very rare outing, it was shown by Hall & Hall at the 2012 Retromobile show. It has since joined the ROFGO Collection, which is dedicated to Gulf-liveried machines.
