"I've had my redline red 2003 350z for 6 months now and everytime i drive it it's just as exciting as the day i bought it. The greatest thing is that all the models come with the 289 hp 3.5 VQ engine. So if you don't want to spend (or waste IMO) money on all the bells and whistles it's a great value. The aftermarket is already incredible and is growing daily. I have added the Injen CAI, Injen SES exhaust and a UR crank pulley. Greddy will be releasing a twin turbo in a few months that is estimated to put down 350+ WHEEL hp for under 6,000 and at only 5.6 psi. Some things to be informed about with this car: Nissan could have done a much better job with the paint. It chips VERY easily. Many owners are extremely unhappy about this. There is also a problem with window grease. When you roll the window down and back up there is this obnoxious streak of grease that is left on the window from the stabilizer. Several people have noted other problems such as tire feathering, tranny problems and differential ""whine"" at highway speeds. Luckily, i'm not having these problems (except for the chipping paint).  Could do with more power

The 350Z has almost everything that you could ask for - great styling, a terrific chassis and, for what you get, a low price tag. I just seem to think though that it doesn't have enough power. 363Nm of torque is indeed comparable to what Porsche, BMW and Ferrari are getting out of their similarly-sized engines but the power output is a fair way off the pace, espcecially when compared to the 252kw that the (smaller than the 350Z) engine in BMW's E46 M3 pumps out. The VQ35 V6 engine in the 350Z should be pumping out at least 260kw, preferably 270kw, in order to make the 350Z a true rival to the M3 and Boxster, if not the 911. I would have some work done to address the power problem if I owned one.
350z - great value and better looks!

"I think the boys at Nissan have got this one spot on. I went to check a 350z out at the local dealer and was so impressed I couldn't resist signing up for one. Whats so impressive? European styling with a great ride and sharp handling as well as an affordable price tag, not to mention the standard bose sound system with 10"" sub behind the driver! Its a definite winner. Only downside ... the 2 month wait."

I really like this car, It's really good looking, it's light, and got 287 horsepower. I tested this thing in front of my house, and on 0-60 it took 5.4 seconds, definetely not bad for such an inexpensive car. I'd also like to mention it looks good in almost every color.

The new Nissan Z finally has found its market & almost has regained its original virtues. For starters, it never belonged in the $40-50K range which the previous model stumbled into, along with the Maz RX-7 & absolutely horrid Toyo Supra. One sports car in that hight domain rules & goes by the name of Corvette. So the Z has got a great, simple effective drivetrain, unusual ergonomics, & a fair profile save for the those reptilean headlights. Nissan is back where it should be with this one, good price, retro resemblances, etc., and it's the only original Oriental vehicle with any damn everlasting charm. THEY'LL SELL EM. MLH

The second Generation(Z32)300Zx TT was way better looking than this,I don't know what happened Nissan replaced an awesome(300ZX)car with a not as good one. I wish they were still making the 300ZX TT,which was the greatest Z car ever by far. Long live the Z32!
 Too good to be true!!!

"I saw one on the road and said ""great, another $50,000 car that I can't afford."" I looked one up on the web and saw the MSRP at about 26K. ""Bait and switch pricing"" I thought to myself. I called a dealer and got a quote for a base model with side airbags as the only option. The standard equipment included the 287hp V6, power locks & windows, a CD player. The total came to about 28K including taxes and registration. I went in to sign the paperwork and read the fine print looking for the catch. There was none. My new Z will be here in March for well under $30,000. Kudos to Nissan for recognizing the need for a world-class sports car that people who make less than six-figures can easily afford. When I get mine, I will enjoy passing the suckers who paid way too much for their BMWs, Boxters, and Benzes. This is truly the automotive bargain of a lifetime. """

"This car is the buy of the year! The thing that really impressed me was the steering feedback. Very BMWish in its feel. Even the steering wheel feels like that of the E46 M3 in your hands. And the ""front/midengine"" platform really does feel like a midengine car. instead of the engine feeling like it's up front under the hood, it feels like it's right there at the steering wheel. very sweet! I loved it so much, just put up a website for other 350Z owners and enthusiasts. check it out. http://www.350ZMotoring.com"""

I got to go for a ride (albeit at a regular, street car pace) around Homestead's road course in a 350Z and...wow. It really has a GT-racer feel, and the exhaust note is as close to an E-Type Jag as you'll find. You can hear the gears (just a little), and you sit down 'in' the drivetrain in a very sporty way. The interior is thoughtful, and looks very useful with cubbies everywhere and a pretty decent little trunk. The details look 'show car' in all the right ways, and the gauges are clear and big. It's got lots of soul...lots of GREAT sound (but not too much)....it sticks like glue...and I was floored that the guy only paid $26k for it.

"This new generation Fairlady is definitely a great car! The new VQ-series engine gave it more power than anything else. The new 6-speed transmission with close ratio gearing provides a smooth gear change and sport feeling. Still keeping it's rear wheel drive layout to keep it's image as a car with great handling. And with it's bold design, new orange color. This is a true sportscar. ""Rules are good. Break them!!!"""""
