I think the XC90 is the best SUV ever made. I have had a BMW X5 and a Mercedes ML, now I have a XC90 and ist many better! The comfort is super and the T6 is a perfect motor! I love Volvo! |
| not that bad really |

when i first saw the pictures of this SUV i was aghast at the sight of this monstrosity. It was just like a streched version of the volvo S60XC, a car that I despise throughly. But i came across it in a parking lot at a grocery store this morning and honestly it didnt look that bad, or maybe the black color got out the chrome touches a little too finely. I actually started liking this truck. So i think that the cayenne will also not be such a sore sight in reality. Maybe they will still admit me in the SUV fan club:) |

This Volvo is great, the best SUV that exist now. The styling is great, it goes with the brand, and as we know it, Volvo means security, that?s why in US is the more secure SUV and the Best SUV by different magazines. |

This is the worst SUV anyone has ever come across. It's looks are ok, very Americanish but overall the SUV is not very good. it's handling is immediate but the steering is very light. it is like driving a washing machine only the visibility is worst because of the side front pillars. It's interior is well put together but confusing. Anyway i have no idea why Volco is targeting the X5. These kind of vehicles should go all out in detroying the range rover(MK3) like what VW have done with their toureg. Personally i do not think this volvo would do very well! |
| Perfect Balance The new XC90 T6 |

I recently had an opportunity to drive the XC90 at my local dealer loacted near Princeton, New Jersey. I was pleasantly pleased with all aspects of the XC90. The power from the modified S80 T6 engine powers the new SUV from a standstill very well. When merging onto the freeway I found myself at cruising speed very quickly. Body roll was minimal, and breaking was superb. The XC90 came to a stop very quickly.Curning around bends and on and off the freeway was done with minimal body roll. In comparison, as the current owner of a 2002 BMW X5 3.0 the cargo capacity and handling of the XC90 T6 surpassed the BMW in all aspects. The XC90 offers exceptionally comfortable seats and bold styling. The feel of the controls and quality of the interior was world class. I only wish Volvo used real wood instead of the cheap faux product used sparingly throughout the cabin. The faux wood should have been left out. Thankfully, Volvo made up for this blemish with an excellenet fit and finish of the XC90 in all other aspects. This is a winner for Volvo. |
