This car kicks ass. It's fierce. This beast would scare the crap out of those little Mustangs and anyother sports car. It's got the genuine Pontiac look that represents quite well the GTO's of the past, and at the same time brings the GTO up to date. This car should definately be made. The GTO that they are making now for the 2004 model year is crap. The interior is definately nice, but the exterior doesn't do the powerful engine and awesome heritage of the car any justice. MAKE THIS CAR!!!

looks like the batman car. and for all of the other guy the camaro is gone and the holden is now the GTO?! its a shame this could have been the bad ass GTO but they had to go stingy and slap a $25000+ price tag on it pontiac should get it together and come up with more exciting etree's like the Grand Prix G-Force!

Probably wouldn't do too much good, to the Vette and the XLR's prestige this platform. But if the next Camaro's sigma would share this one... That would be the ultimate match. Both being musclecars and thus the costs would be cut, too. The Monaro is okay for a while, but this is the GTO spirit. What have you heard about the next Camaro? I'm very interested.

While yes, this car would go good on the XLR/C6 chassis, that really wouldn't be affordable for everyone, especially GM. Besides, it would also take away some of the mistique of the chassis, possibly causing Vette/XLR sales to slump off. The best bang-for-buck platform to use would be the Sigma, the platform for the '04 GTO, Caddy CTS, and (according to a rumor I heard) the next-gen Camaro. While yes, I do wish that this really was the next GTO, the Holden Monaro will be more than sufficient as a muscle car until GM can get some real engineering done to give us a truly perfect GTO successor.
 Next GTO?

Unlike the Holden Monaro, this LOOKS like a Muscle Car. The Monaro is rather a sleek coupe than a GTO. The chassis of the XLR/C6 Vette would be more than perfect to this Beast.
