Hey everyone

I wonder if anyone can help me. I need to replace the sills on my MG Midget 1500.
Not a job i want to take on myself.

But i have no idea of anyone or how much this should be.

Could anyone give me a rough price ??

I am in the Oxford area UK

You can email me on [email protected]

Would be great because i have just brought the car two weeks ago, and really just starting out. Would be grateful for all the help i can get.

Cheers Dan

I am a new owner of a 1977 MG Midget. It is a very nice car but I have little or no information on it and I am looking for some assistance. The first problem I am having is related to the clutch. When I first drove it I noticed that the clutch grabbed quickly but it shifted rather smoothly. Today when I actually went for my first real ride I found that as soon as I shifted into gear (with difficulty) the engine bogged down and it felt as if the clutch was still engaged. Shifting was rough to say the least. From what little I have seen I would guess that the clutch works on hydrolics. If I am right, what kind of oil does it require as it looks low.

A Midget would be ideally suited for someone who wants a cheap, reliable and affordable classic convertible. As with most MG's parts availability is great. It's a shame that due to legislation so many cars, including the Midget, had to be equipped with rubber bumpers.
