If you got points for having the highest revving engine then heaps of teams would be revving their engines past 19500 rpm... but guess what, you dont. if Ferrari wanted to rev their engine past that figure sure they could but they didnt and thats why they dont blow up engines like certain other teams. its like someone with a turbo car claiming they are running the highest boost out of anyone even though they dont win a thing and blow up engine after engine... intelligence?

This car's engine actally reached 19,500 rpm at Monaco during qualifying, making it the world's highest revving piston engine.
 blame on BMW?

No, of course they have to put the engine to its limits, but not over it. Obviously the Ferrari package, as far as I understood also pretty close to 19,000 revs has been better tested, and may be laid out for a stint of 500 km before major overhaul, rather than 450.

I don't think you can blame anyone at BMW for pushing the motor's to the extreme. But I do believe that the unbelieveable reliability of the Ferrari's has put the spotlight on both williams and mclarens problem's. As for the chassis well you can't really complain to much about it. It was a bit hard on the rear tyres but all in all other than the Ferrari it was the best car. The tyres were a problem but again it was more the fact that the Bridgestones were made for the Ferrari so gave an already exceptional package another advantage.

Could there be a relationship between the 19000 revs and the fact that the car keeps on blowing engines?
 Not the best....

BUT IT'S STILL FANTASTIC! Of course it's not the best, I mean the Ferrari F2002 has been dominating the whole season. But for the F2002, I think it's the car, not the driver (I don't mean to say that Schumi sucks). Back to the FW24, this car has the highest RPM in the whole of Formula One with a maximum of 19000 RPM. It also has more HorsePower (HP) as compared to any of the other Formula One cars. Me personally, I like this car very much but I also hate something about it.......... IT KEEPS ON BLOWING ITS ENGINE!!! And that screws up the car. Also, I think that the BMW WilliamsF1 Team should use Bridgestone tires instead of Michelin ones...
