The Marauder may be dead, but it's not exactly "dead". I have a black 2003 Marauder, and the only thing that would make me happier is a custom made convertible top. I plan to have the customized convertible done to my car in the next year. I'm not sure where I have to have it done, but I know what price range it will be. I think the Mercury Marauder Convertible was a great idea, but like others said, the Marauder died before the idea went into production, and I was heart broken. So, I'm cheering myself up by having my Marauder turned into a convert. So as far as I know, the Marauder Convertible still lives on. |

A sharp looking car. But here it is, 2005, and the Marauder is already dead and mostly forgotten. Mercury itself may not be far behind. |

You see, I was going to do this anyway! If... Mercury builds another m-machine they better have a drop-top option. This car alone with the drop top will put mercury back in the spotlight for normals(non-car buffs). It looks and sounds(for people that actually been in one) good period. To add with the new super-chargers this baby can do 12-13 second halfs on stock accesories and with that heavy body. Nothing on the market can top that for that PRICE. |

I thought the marauder was hot already, now you wanna chop the top off. There's no competition for the marauder right now. Definitely build this car. I'm an impala ss fan, but this is killing'em. |

FOMOCO- Please build this! I am tired of going to showrooms to see the new this or that convertible and find that they have an uninhabitable back seat. We need to produce one which the family can ride in, and maybe go to the drive in also! |

The Mercury Murauder Convertible is probably the most amazing concept that I have seen in a long time. Between the Acura RD-X and the Scion BBX, I almost had to ask myself what the world is commin to, but then I saw the Murauder and thanked God that there are Americans, who know how to put out a concept vehicle! |
