| This is some CONCEPT |
| Dardan 11-13-2005 |
I've been watching and studying this category of cars. It seem like Lotus Elise has been one of the oldest in this category. There are others like the Concept Smart Brabus 1.3 V6 biturbo, Opel Speedster. I think these cars are the ones wich are opening the doors of the modern automobilism. Light, light and only light cars. Sporty drive with so little fuel comparing to real sports cars, more and more inportance to aerodinamics. I think these are the things wich modern engineers should give importance. Most of these cars have only two seats. Im so surprised this peugeot has four of them. It's just so nice, possible and convenient i every point of view. |
| peugeot claims............. |

this is a toy car i really have no idea of what they mean but i know what they mean. This car was just a concept and they will never put it into production. peugeot built this car to fasinate the people of what peugeot can do in terms of styling and basically this car is all about the engine. This is a engine that peugeot wants to put on their many production cars. The frenchmen there want to challenge BMW, mercedes benz and many other manufactures in their desiel engines. This engine is really really good. Everybody claims that peugeot built better engines than BMW or Audi(maybe) but I don't know whether that is true or not but anyway i would like to congratulate peugeot on their wonderful efforts in engineering!!!!!! |
| Stunningly Weak |

This is easily one of the most beautiful automobiles I have ever seen. The stying and the lines of this car are second to only a few of the most amazing supercars. Unfortunately Peugeot has decided to skip out on the horses, and give us something with torque and torque alone, and there is not even much of that. I wish that they would have built a proper engine to live up to the styling cues of the body. It looks fast, but it is beat out by the Testarossa for top speed and has equal 0-60 times. I wish this engine would just be reconcidered, then it could compete with the MacLaren and the Bugatti. |

Why do car makers tempt us with such gems as the RC diamonds/Spades, then build truly boring cars??? At least renault has had a go at building something differant. Though some design cues may be taken for new models, The nose of the 407 (thats it's official name) or maybe the interior??? |

"Did you fail to notice the 406 coupe, designed by Pininfarina? Surely this car can claim the title ""Modena for the masses"" it is an affordable and very elegant 4 seater. Interestingly the sales of this car went up by 25% when the diesel version was introduced. Hopefully the RC's will see production one day though.""" |
| another good proto never to go to production |

Once again it's the same thing I was saying about Alfa. What's wrong with Peugeot? They pretend they are the French luxury brand, they create lots of interesting showcars and then sell just utility cars and plain dull looking sedans (except for the 607 which is quite interesting). They would better give up with the stunning coupe prototypes so maybe they have still a chance that people doesn't see how big a difference there is between them and the junk they sell. |

This should be a hoot to drive, unleashing all its impressive power between 2 and 3000 revs, very comfortable indeed and relaxing. Just look at the torque, compared to the petrol version of the car. This shows how much diesel technology has picked up in recent years. Hopefully it will reach production stages soon, although Peugeot is still keeping mum about it. |
