 X-Cute!

The is a super cute car, with all the Swatch-inspired dials. Pity about the long-geared steering, which is not ideal for City driving at all! BUt it's so cute! Any flaws are easily overlooked! But, it's expensive. In Singapore, if you want it, you have to get it through parallel importers, and they charge you about $90,000 to above $100,00 for this compact car. The same money can get you a Mazda 6 2.0L, or a Nissan Primera 2.0L CVT, or a Mercedes A160, or a Subaru Legacy... so many big cars which cost the same as the SMART... But no matter how expensive this super cute car is, there will still be buyers.

i just love this car coz of its size.i once saw it race with a diablo vt 6.0 in dubai.they came close to a speedbreaker so the diablo slowed down. the smart overtook it but the diablo was just fooling him & sped away.
3 words to describe it- Smart, Cute and compact!

The Smart is a very good solution for a city car but charging double to do a BRABUS version of it? Whatever. For $24,000 US I'd rather have a practical car with more cargo capacity than a Barbie Corvette... maybe a Subaru WRX or a Pontiac Grand Prix
 mileage

Dear Alex, don't mix-up mileage with range, the Smart has a good mileage (fuel consumption) and a range of 600 km is long enough to make you feel totally knackered when you get out of the car as there is no long distant comfort what so ever to speak of.

i'm from belgium, and there are loads of smarts there. mostly cdi's (=diesel), because in belgium, the price of fuel is very high, diesel is quite cheap. i would like to react on what 'skinnyboy' mentioned: the smart doesn't really have a record mileage, because the fuel tank is only able to contain some 25 litres, and the car uses about 4 litres per 100 km. so you can do some 600km with it, which is not extremely much... the only thing why it is very practical: you avoid all possible taxes (insurance, engine taxes, fuel price ...), and it is super to park it !! you can put it almost everywhere, because finding a parking space is not really easy in our country .. i don't know whether you've got an idea on the price: it costs about US $ 12.500, but this brabus version, especially in cabrio, goes up to US $ 23.750, and that is quite expensive for a car with these performances ...
 Please bring it to us!

"This Smart car is so...SMART! I hope that one day they will bring the Smart car to America. Though the thought is very very unlikely, and though the ""American Muscle"" fanatics would have a fit, this car is simply increadible. 1600 lbs and only 70 horses pull this car to 83 mph which is fast enough for me! And just think about the killer gas mileage that you would get. I say yes to the Smart!"""

The Smart Cabrio was pretty stylish as it was, but Brabus made it kick ass.
