In my opinion, it does not get any better than this car- and that's counting the upcoming Enzo. The shape of the car is, in so few words, to die for- sensious curves that are unmistakenly Italian, even though this car was so original for its time. The 12 cylinders sound wonderful, and as for the handling- while it still is an old car, with the requestite narrow rubber and huge sidewalls, it is considered by many to be the most finely balenced car- ever. Not to mention, this was a Gran Turismo in the true sense of the word- it was driven across Europe to race at (and excel in) the 24 hours of Le Mans. Worth the $4 million it has been sold for in past auctions? Without a doubt. By virtue of that it is the greatest road-going Ferrari ever made, it is the greatest car ever made. |
