Front Wheel Drive |
Dodgester2004 20-9-2003 |
"Hey ricers, before you knock the Stratus for copying front wheel drive- do some research. Front wheel drive was first mass produced in 1931 by Audi; long before ricers had any credibility. I'm sure in your closed minds every major auto andvancement is Japanese. Open up and realize that if Dodge were truely copying the Japanese market they wouldn't have added the turbo. Turbo Civic... oxymoron- and only if you want to void your 10/100k warranty." |
Help! |

"Hi Im Carlos Enrquez from Mxico. Im an owner of a Stratus 2003. I want you ask for information. Please tell me where can I find your body kid and (I dont know how its called in English the ""rear lights well the plastic "") those are cool, I couldnt find any like those. Here in Mexico no there are pleases to tuning dodge. There are one thing that I knew it today, I went in the morning to pick up mi car of the service and I had a little conversation with the mechanic about wheels and gear box. He told me that before of change the wheel size you need to took the car to the agency for a re-calibration of the gear box, because if you dont do it, it may suffer a heavy damage cos the gear box and the computer receives worn information. So I recommends you go to the repair shop Tank you =)" |

what the hell is that? You people say thats not coyping? one thing! Alluminum Spoiler?? Thats an import thang man.. dont kid yourself.. FRONT WHEEL DRIVE. Known by the CIVIC.. why not try to copy a domestic and make rear wheel drive.. why put a v6 in it and turbocharge it, and then make it front wheel drive.. i admit it was a good idea, except making a Stock turbo car fwd.. rear wheel drive has more capabilities.. such as. burnouts are better, drift.. Dont Kid yourself dodge.. |
about dodge stealth biturbo |
iamCANADIAN 3-6-2003 |
im wondering if anyone knows what the specs on a dodge stealth twin turbo are. specifically about the 0-60mph times. i have heard as low as 3.6 sec, but i am very skeptical of this. i came to this page since this car is also a dodge car, with similar attributes. |
could be better......SRT-6? |
gt40fied 31-5-2003 |
Dodge already has a I-4 sports car in production, so it needs a bit more power. This would be a cool car to see go in production, but I think it should be an step up from the SRT-4. AWD, coupe version, Twin Turbo V6, 300+ bhp, and we might must have a new mopar musclce car to take on the Mustang GT and G35. |
Good start |

"I like the turbo, it is a good step from the little ""fuel efficient"" cars most of us are now driveing. I like the idea and hope it spreads. I admit that the cars weree used to it does seem odd but i like it. I think there is still more room for improvement.... but i hope soon all car makers will realize that somepeople would like to have a car that can hold some more that one small framed persin and still move when you put the gas down. It is comming back somewhat from days long past like the family jag with 390 hp but i would also like to see it more affordable platforms." |
I'd like to see.... |

"What I'd like see on the 2003-04 model. V6 with twin turbo. AWD.:) widened body by 2-3 inches *wider stance* some nice 18"" - 20"" rims and a ride height of 3"" lifting to 7"" * airshocks.* love the car since GT2. Stratus Racing :) CS:)" |

I am a mexican, and here, they released a 4 cylinder, DOHC 16 valves, 215 HP Stratus R/T (Sedan, but still good), and it kicks ass. I can kick any damn honda you wish with this, except the 240 HP, 6 cylinder Accord, but then again, it has 6 cylinders, and 240 is pretty crappy. Well anyways, stratus aint no copy of honda. |
Needs to be put into production |
shiftystrat 12-12-2002 |
Nice ride! Seems like there would be a market for it. As a Stratus owner (and former owner of a Spirit R/T , Shelby Charger, and other performanance-model Dodges) it seem like my kind of car. Especially if it were available in bright red! |

"Dodge has been making a 2.4L turbo Stratus 4 door since 1995.... It was just never sold in the States. The ""domestic ricyness"" comes from the huge wing, nasty ""clear"" tails, and chrome wheels on a fwd car.. You're right, they're ""copying"" the wrong cars with this particular show car. But look under the hood of this car - 2.4L TURBO, 240 hp. How the heck is that copying a honda????? Yeah, sure honda's accord makes 240. Out of a 6. How many young people can afford to mod that engine AND not get the car repoed?? If you know anything at all you would agree that it's damn near EASY to get lots more power out of engines like these without ever opening them up - and without ""naaaawz."" Without all the honda crap on it - this car is sweet. You know it.""" |
i like it |
stratusman 12-12-2002 |
make me laugh..try to copy honda...lol, and i really like this car, becaus it's an american car, not an IMPORT, you people are just jelous because honda never came out with a turbo accord or a Toyota turbo Camry...that's it. |
Try again |
DOHC 10-12-2002 |
Another dumb ideal by dodge...the stratus is an ugly car and now the stratus turbo, its like putting a tight skirt on a fat chick, it just doesnt look right....try again |
Dodge going back to what it's damn good at |
Stratusfied 10-12-2002 |
This is an inspiration to say the least that Dodge is paying attention to the numbers of modified Strat owners out there... We have been asking for a car which competes with it's class and Dodge has stepped up to the plate with the 240hp R/T... Accolades to Dodge for fulfilling our intermediate desires. I'd like to see a more powerful version of the turbo hit the streets... Something to the tune of 300whp... |
Domestic Rice |
Jimothy_Jebus 6-12-2002 |
Dodge is obviously trying to take a leap into the import market, but, oh, wait, its domestic. Why do they even try. Asians wont buy it because they want hondas. Americans wont buy it because they dont want to drive in something that trys to copy a honda, so where is dodge going with this one?? Nowhere |
My Kinda Car |
The_Maverick86 20-11-2002 |
This is my ultimate car. It is perfect. It has just the right color, just the right hood and just the right rims and just the right spoiler and just the right engine and its 4 door. A totaly cool car in my opinion (which may not be worth much to anyone but myself). I would definately buy one of these. |
