wow! |

This looks like it's gonna be a phenomenal series! I just hope that we get some coverage in my native South Africa. It has all the right ingredients. relative freedom with the chassis and design as well as some cost cutting ideas. I wouldn't watch it in the place of F1 (McLaren are gonna dominate next year) but i certainly think it has a bright future. This is also one of the prettiest race cars i have ever seen. It will never beat a 50's Silver Arrow or the Prodrive Racing Maranello, but it's quite gorge nonetheless. >>SEETHER ROCKS<< Oz |
Grand American Daytona Prototypes |

I think the new top division for the Grand-Am series next year will be very popular with sportscar race fans. At the time that I wrote this these are the Daytona Prototype out: Fabcar, Multimatic, and the Picchio as shown above. I don't know exactely which of these chassis will be the best at this point but my guess is the Riley & Scott DP will be the best for '03. Besides that has nothing to do with what engine package the team may deside on. Anyways this is a great division. |
