Did you know that the streetka has an anti-men forcefield around it? I'm told it drives well, I'm told that the hood's easy to operate but what good is that if half the population can't get in it? Ford itself says that 80% of it's ustomers will be women, so what's the other 20%? I think it's probably robots. They don't have feelings, so the can't feel embarrased while driving one with the hood down.
 CUTE! I WANT IT!

It's got good handling and it's fun to drive, but it's aimed mostly at females and it's all show, not too much go. It's only slightly faster than my Dad's 1.4 Fiesta. The girls won't know that looking at the car. I'm not saying it's slow, but it's not exactly very fast. The SportKa has the same performance, but, strangly enough, I'd rather be seen in one of those. SportKa or StreetKa, it'll be a bit cheaper to run than a Golf GTi, especially in the UK where fuel prices are rediculous.

I have ordered my wife a red Streetka Lux today, due to be delivered september 2003 on the same day as my Focus RS, I drove the StreetKa Today 12/05/03 its fun to drive, looks the nuts & is very cheap to buy & insure, i know there is only 96 bhp engine but that and the price has kept the insurance down to 300 quid, its about time Ford had a convertable in there range, but why on earth do we have to wait between 3-6 months for these cars, i have been waiting since january for my Focus RS to be confirmed, i was told today it will be here in september.

It has an antique engine. An engine that is not as powerful as it should be! The interior is so plasticky, a Nissan Micra/March Coupe/Cabriolet will shame the Streetka in terms of interior ambience and packaging. But i can't deny that this car is eye-catching, but the Micra/March is even more eye-catching. The SMART Roadster will be a much better buy than the Streetka, so is the Peugeot 206CC and many others. Simply because, this Ford is not as good as it should be. It is severely flawed.
What is this? This is worse than the Ford Fiesta

"If any of you guys have seen the Fiesta, im sure you got the name ""what the f... is that? A car to resemble an ox?"" And now when you look at this...you think what the hell...man this is a piece of shit, was it made to target the homeless who think they are cool when this buy this? Man for the person who made the last message, please do tell me how much it costs"

I have just ordered a StreetKa Luxury after seeing one at my local Ford Dealer. I think it is an amazing car. It has to be one of the most eye catching cars on the road and for what it costs its excellant value for money. Well done Ford!! We need more cars with character like this one on our roads. Unfortunately ive got to wait 3 months for mine to be delivered, but i cant wait!! If you own one of these cars please place your comments on this wed page as i would be interested to read them!
 Well I LIKE it !

I have ordered one of the first 1000 StreetKa,s in Envy metallic, with Parchment leather, and I am really looking forward to receiving it on March 1st 2003. I currently drive Jaguars XJ6 (1991)& XJS (1988), so I am looking for an improvement in my fuel bills!!!

for those people who did not know history the escort rs 1600 at 1970 gives 115hp . And also was a champion rally car.

Though this car gets an A+ is style, a car is only as good as its engine, which the StreeKa lacks.

This car ain't meant to be the most sporty of cars, it ain't meant to be a little diablo from Ford, and hence the engine power sucks, but the style of the car is stupendous, almost an exact replica of the Turin Showcar! Henk4, this car is meant to appeal to the sort of person who buys a latte and prefers wafting to full-out blasting down a back road. Its actually pretty cool for 12,000 pounds or whatever! too bad, not for aussie. Too bad Kylie don't come as standard :(
 Lusty?

95 BHP out of a 1600 engine you (or Ford) call that lusty? I would say it's lousy. I also noticed this engine being fitted in the Sportka. What a pretentsion!! In 1976 when Volkswagen introduced the first Golf GTI it was fitted with a 1600 CC, giving 110 BHP. I had not realised that Ford was that far behind.
