| build my dream car! |
| sprocketman 24-3-2004 |
"As an owner of a Subaru SVX, also designed by Gigaro, I immediately fell in love with this vehicle; mostly for its exceptional design, but also for the mix of practicality in an exotic touring coupe. I want a stylish vehicle with sports car handling that will cruise in comfort across Canada in summer and WINTER (all wheel drive) with room for 4 adults. I must be able to stow luggage when picking up friends and family at the airport or alternately carry a couple of mountain bikes securely inside for frequent trips to the mountains. It doesn't have to go offroad, so I would prefer the stance of an Audi S4 to that of a Porsche Cayenne. please build my dream car." |

What's that phrase? Supply and demand or demand and supply. Demand is rather high for SUV's, Porsche is getting involved, so why not Maserati? Europe in general is supplying some of the nicest SUV's (Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW, Porsche). Maserati has a great lineup, many thanks to Ferrari, Italdesign, and Pininfarina. There's a 2dr spyder and coupe, the Kubang SUV, and soon a new 4dr Quattroporte. Maserati and Ferrari originally rivals, now partnered and making a big impression. |

with the cayenne doing well in the market , maserati also want to give it a shot.i saw several pictures of it in magazines & i liked its design. although i dont know how it would look in the flesh.maserati should produce the kubang as many people are not pleased with the cayenne so they may have a good chance to compete with the cayenne if the price is reasonable. |
| The name of this car is funny.... |
| McLarenFan 23-1-2003 |
"have you guys ever watch National Geographic where you will see pictures of buffalos playing in mudholes? well in my language such behavior are called ""Kubang"". Although in english it may sound tough (Buffalos playing in mudholes), in our language the word is actually associated with stupidity. For example: a mother said to her son when she saws her son came back home with mud all over his body, ""Where have you been? playing in mudholes?!! You wanna be a buffalo, is that it?!!!"" Rest assured even though it may sound a bit tacky in english, it's quite funny in our language. So i think this car is stupid and a joke. Just like it's name...." |
| A winning idea |

I think Maserati has seen how well the Cayenne is going to do in the sales area, so they are competing with this very more attractive suv type vehicle. I think it looks great, and has the same unique drk italien exotica exclusivity that only a Maserati (maybe ferrari as well) has got. and for people who want a maserati but because of work commitments or families, cant opt for a 4200gt/spyder (the only model Maserati currently produce) the idea of a suv is a clever idea. It also would probably have poor build quality, expensive services, and limited dealer facilities so maybe they should concentrate on a sporty saloon. |

listen up! why does eveyone give these new suv cars such bad cred. now dont get me wrong i've always thought that Porsche, audi and maserati were sports cars, well maybe not audi, more of a loxo barge, but I believe that this is an excellent step forwards for all of these manufacturers. i have often dreamed of owning an rsr light weight or a gt coupe but I would have to walk 4 klm just for me access it, because were i live tar doesn't exist. I own a late model Range Rover hse vogue and I damned well know that it at the moment it is still the king of the off road, but after 20 odd years of driving range rovers and other crudlas (hilux, rodeo, explorers, patrols and so on) I would love to rally a 5sec 0-100 porsche or masarati up my road. this car is the only way that i could have a maserati, porsche or audi parked in my shed. so through my eyes this is one of the best moves that these marques of cars have ever made. |

| fantastic italian style |

"This is the Entry of a carismatic italian car in a new world of made car. Maserati have the best look in this cathegory and motor is fantastic. I say to Porsche designers : ""look at this, art and mechanical in a wonderful combination!""""" |
| A new fad maybe? |
| Primera 15-1-2003 |
First the Cayenne, and now this? Porsche and Maserati seem to be taking a little detour and exploring the SUV/Wagon market. Sure it has power, but I think that Maserati should stick to Coupes and the such. Whats next? The Ferrari GT Wagon? We can only hope not. |

"I think the rear of the car is nicely done but the front reminds of one of the characters from ""A Bug's Life""""" |
| paradox |
| henk4 13-1-2003 |
I am still wondering what the comfort would be for the rear seated (or third row) passengers if this car (or the Cayenne) will be driven like you should drive a Maserati. They have to be strapped pretty tight to survive. So if you care about your passengers buy something less extravagent but if you like driving buy a real Maserati. |
| I do like this! |
| IBrake4Rainbows 12-1-2003 |
I thought when Maserati finally got around to doing an SUV, it would be a disaster. But since they enlisted the help of Giugiaro, i think it looks ok. The front may be a little off, but the rest is fine and in proportion. good work. |
