The headlights are only a slight drawback; they're a a bit tiny, but from the side they harmonize well. A small price to pay for Bond fans who can finally drive their fantasies; I suppose most will be in silver gray. We probably won't see too many canary yellow Vantages (heaven forbid, 007!).

A wonderful design. The road tests indicate it's just a shade under the 911 in performance, but loads over in gut appeal -- the choice being, who would you rather drive, a Bond girl or Miss Verynice?

I dont like the headlights of this Aston, they make the car look like its falling asleep. I looked at it, and i found myself squinting as a natural reflex to looking at the headlights. The rest of the car is looking beautiful. I think that the speedometer is way too high-tech and complex in comparison to the rest of the interior. I'd like to find out how much one of these will cost, or what its performance will be. Go Britain!!

Aston Martin has not yet decided on the final specifications on the new V8. After the lauch of the AMV8, that will include a 350-370 bhp 4.3L V8, they may introduce a 500bhp GT version, that will really give it a run for its money. There was talk about it being called a DB8 instead of the AMV8. With the new DB9 being launched in May it should really put the AMV8 on the map. The factory is debating on the name, but with V8 symbol after AM will really distinguish the new baby eight cylinder from it's parents baring the V12's. The car itself is, without a doubt, THEE best looking, inside and out, $100,000 sports car that will on the market in '05!

"Since my first Motor Trend when I was 13, I have been fantasizing about high end sport cars, from the 959 to the F40, I have always dreamed of owning and driving an exotic......and thanks to this manufacturer, now I can finally afford one,! Aston Martin has made my dreams a reality! Until the Vanquish, I had never thought AM's were very good looking, nor very sporty, then along comes something so much better (than the Vanquish), and at less than half the price? I must be dreaming. This is the most beautiful car I have ever laid eyes on. I have drooled over this far than I have any other car; I can't stop thinking it. I lay awake at night thinking of the day when I will meet with someone at AM to sort through all the available colors for the paint and leather. I have always been one who likes to find ways to improve on things, to change things to what I think is better, but this car does not neen anything (except maybe an actual shift knob). From the long sweeping hood, to the sloping rear window, the short overhang, and those menacing headlights, this car is perfect! - To all those who have been critical of the headlights, let me remind you that these things are there to light the road, and are only there because they have to be, but that doesn't mean they should have take up half the hood. I think that from the front, the headlights help make this car look as though it is attacking you, therfore I would hate to be looking at one from the rear view mirror of a more expensive 911 Turbo or Ferrari Modena. I can't help but wonder if Ford had anything to do with making a more affordable AM? Anyone have any thoughts on this?"

The resemblance to a Vanquish is obvious, however this looks to have a special little flavour of its own. As a user before me said, I also dislike the headlights, they are way too narrow and make it look a bit stupid. Otherwise very nice, and with a couple of tiny design tweaks this could be a little brother to that Vanquish that really makes a statement.
 watch out 911!!

This car is absolutely gorgeous!! i started drooling the moment i saw it!!... according to all the motoring journalists this car was built to give the porsche 911 a run for its money, and by the looks for things Dr porsches machines sure hav a fight on their hands!! whether it can compete performance wise with the 911 remains to be seen, but in terms of looks and style i'd deffinately go for this beauty! ........If this is the future of aston martin , then its going in the right direction!!

Kinda reminds me of a little brother to the vanquish, has a few similar lines. It's a little bit more hansome than the Vanquish too, I think. I would really love to see these things on the road. Also, I think they should offer a genuine 5 speed for it, maybe a convertible haha (I hate convertibles.) Either way, this looks like one of the best new deals out there.

I dislike the headlights on this car. They seem too narrow, like slots which they just happened to stick lights in, not something that was actually delibrately designed. The rest of the car is an absolute stunner though, a Mini-Vanquish, if you will. fantastic. B&B indeed.
