| More info on this beauty |

As to the person who said Nuvolari is a queer name....are you kidding me? First, it's a beautiful name. Second, it's named after one of the best race car drivers in his time (i believe 1940s). The styling is Audi with sexier lines. The interior is gorgeous, especially w/ the blue LED strips. Also, if you read the magazines, it is not determined what's the platform, whether it'll be next gen A6 or a shorterned A8. Engine choices may vary, probably a V6, a V8, then a top the line V8 twin-turbo or V10. It's to compete with the BMW 6 and possibly the Merc CL (maybe CLK for base) |
| Nuvolari top speed |
| Laneos 31-5-2003 |
One thing I've learned from driving Audi cars, is that they have no problems with going fast. It takes very little to accidently slide from 110kph to 200kph. I would not at all be suprised if this car could do 350kph, and do it comfortably as far as handling and aerodynamics go. Beautiful piece of machinery. Doubt I could ever afford it though. |
| Will it be produced? |

According to a magazine I read, it mentioned that Audi would be building something like this in production around 2004 as I recall. I read that in December 2002. Now it's 2003 and I've seen repeated tests amd stats on this car. I was thinking it was going into production, and now that I realize it has a governed top speed, I can only guess they did that to put it into production. |
| Limiting top speed |
| capone 21-3-2003 |
"I don't know the real reason why they limit top speed in some of these cars but I can only GUESS that even though the car has enough ""grunt"" to get to say 350KPH, the aerodynamic design could not cater for those speeds. E.g. Past 200KPM a car must have the appropriate ""package"" to stick to the road. At first looks and without much to go on, I can only assume this car would be unstable after 250KPM and that is why the limit its speed. Can anyone help out on this topic ?" |

"I think Audi has turned a new leaf, and i love it. The style is thrilling and fresh something very new. I like the design and if i were goign to spend any where from around $40,000-$80,000 dollars on a car (pending) this would be the car i'd buy. Its also one of few expensive cars with an interior design i feel isn't too far fetched and is something i'd want to show off and not hide in shame. A couple things i'd change though are the front grill; for one it's way too big instead of having the car's name in the grill in its place i'd rather the grill end there and have that be part of the body instead and then beneath it have it look like the rest of the bumper. And the other thing i'd change is the radio consoles and such paraphernalia in between the two front seats. It looks very complicated from the way it was depicted in the pictures. It looks like something i'd have to read the owner's manual twice to figure out. But other then that its an all out great car. I'd say the most eye catching part of the car for me was the head lights, its very stylish and it definitely something the belongs on the car." |

This is what i am talking about people. I bet people at Bavaria and Stuggart will be shocked and stunned at the same time by the people at Ingolstadt. Just looks at what they can do. 600 bloody horsepower with looks that can kill. It looks fairly simple but it is still very very stunning. See, audis have this feature of making their cars very simple and easy to live with and their cars actually looks better as they age. Not many designers have that skill. Then there is the interior. Just look at it. It says it all. You can actually see the good build quality. You do not need to fell it you just now everytime they come up with a concept that looks brilliant on the outside the inside would be even better. |
| whats the point... |
| VT Fusion 19-3-2003 |
besides the massive amount of torque... 600bhp... for what? 250kmp/h... 0-60 in 4 secs, that can be obtained with 450 hp... The style is ok, though not my cup of tea, too big and bulky at the front, with a big flat wall looking thing, and the whole car keeps this fat squarish look, but it is a rectangle that longed to be round and so in places it is. the slim sleak round cabbin just doesnt fit, even less than on the TT, its not bad. But this does not look, nor perform like a car with 600bhp.. so what is the point!!!??? i just dont see why this car needs 600bhp, all this car has as competition is the veyron because they are both cars which contradict themselves, they are aimed at a market and use which will never need the potiental they have, and the design pricibles are very similar. To be blatently truthfull i just dont like the and hope Audi dont further push this look into lamborghini.. Not a car i desire sorry. |
| War has already started |
| capone 19-3-2003 |
With war just about to break out in the gulf, I believe a new war has already started. The war of horsepower. Seems like every car manufacturer wants to break the 600HP. Ferrari, Porsche, Mercs and now Audi. Lets not forget the Bugatti 1000 BHP. Don't get me wrong, this machine looks to have incredible stats but get rid of the turbos. Isn't a 5.0 V10 enough ? |
| a bit of a waste |
| makaveli 17-3-2003 |
i just think that it is a bit of a waste for audi to make a 600bhp car and then limit it to just 155mph to me that just seems like a waste. i mean with 600bhp = some serious speed i would think that this car could easly do over or close to 200mph. i mean the car is truly outstanding for audi to produce but i mean comon let it LOOSE!! this car is one of those car that begs to be driven. this is a supercar and supercars dont have any limitations. so thats why i think that all this power is in a sense wasted with the 155mph limitation. |
