first impression: MB should toss this concept in the bin. as far as design goes, ill just say i dont like it. same thing with the power. wheres the Vision SLR? now thats a concept thats headed in the right direction. |

This is the most utterly disgusting thing i have ever seen man. Just look at it. It looks totally hideos. Engine is also not that great. Its 1.8 but it only weighs 950kilos but it accelerates very slowly and what is the top speed!?!? Godness! Look at the lotus elise, brilliant engine, even better looks and the est of all the chassis. If merc is planning to put this ghost in the showroom(which they are must probably not)they better be prepared for what the hell happened to BMW when they launched the new E65 7. |

Mercedes show this car at 2001 Detroit Motor Show.It have got very avantgard style, but it's not Mercedes style.SLR's style is better than that.SLA looks like alien, but not like Mercedes.I think this car have got very bad engine: only 209kph max. speed and 0-100kph for 7.70sec. It's very bad for MERCEDES. |

I have seen this shape before, it was called Suzuki Capucchino, but at least that one had a much cleaner body with far less designer fuss. |

This is absolutely not the Mercedes style... This is one car that can ruin Merc if produced. This car should not be carried any further... just a glance is good enough to prove that it should be scrapped. The basic shape is one of the main problems and... 1.89 ltrs. with 0-60 in 7.70 seconds? Come on now... you can do much better than that. |

How can a company that can bring the world (eventually) the Vision SLR, be so blind as to show us this rubbish. Has the CEO given the design brief to their local school or what? Gobsmacked by the naffness. This is not what I have come to expect from Benz! I'm sure some people will love it, so now go and look at the powerplant. WHAT IS GOING ON? There is an electric car down the road with twice the power of that!! |
