 Ford didn't invent the paint

The paint was not invented by Ford. The technology to make it shift like that was invented by Flex Products, Inc. and is used in a variety of consumer applications. DuPont, BASF and others use Flex's color shifting pigments in a wide range of paint colors. Ford is just applying it like any other paint. Also, the car does not need an entire repaint to fix a scratch. It can be touched-up or repainted like any other auto paint. They use a black base coat, then the Mystichrome (or which ever color), then clear coat. It certainly isn't for everyone, but the original Mystics Ford built in 1996 are not all garage queens. Many are daily drivers or race prepped. My only complaint is that they are only making 1000.

TVR has been doing the same thing as Ford with paint effects, as evidenced in the Tuscan (approx. 4-5 years old). Once again, American cars are behind the curve.

The Last Mustang (concept) has let me upset. What an ugly model, even for me, real fan. This is serious sh**, perfect design, compatible with this legend called Mustang. About the paintjob, expensive to re-paint if something happen. Withou any scratch, veeeery stylish.

this car is alright handles good performance good.compared to other cars with smaller engines this car is ok.i read a article that one person says that big block engines are a thing of the past that person is wrong.i know people have seen fast and the fourious.what they do not relize is that for all the engine work in those cars yes 4cyl and 6cyl engines to go fast is $10,000 and up .with a big block like a mustang or camaro you get more bang for the buck plus those 4cyl engines that a person said in a article are fast ,yeah after lots of money and those engines dont last long.read up and you will see those facts.but i do agree ford spent to much time and money developing this kind of paint.

I thought this effect went out a few years ago. Its effective the first time you see in but as long as its on someone elses car.

I think maybe if Ford put as much money into researching true performance machines as they did in finding ways to make paint and leather change color, they may be able to build something of quality other than a truck. Let's face it, the big block, large displacement engines are becoming a thing of the past. When people smoke these guys with a 2.0L 4-cyl it makes you wonder if development at Ford have their eyes open...
What a practical and usable paintjob invented those little b

I guess this is intended to be a car for collectors, the kind of people that are not going to roll it out from their beloved garage if they're not 100% sure that a) it's not going to rain b) no sand storms c)no other cars around d)no shitting birds either e) not even a single suicidal insect in the air. I mean, is it fun driving around knowing that a single scratch on your precious paintjob will take a complete-multi-layer-complex-awfully-expensive re-spraying of the whole damn car? ...furthermore I never really liked this mustang model, I think its edgy body is quite ugly indeed. Anyway I think their going to introduce the new one soon, aren't they? And hopefully it's going to be better looking than this one. Of course this is just my opinion.
