"I have one on order. There's a lot of thing Chevrolet could have done differant. This will be my first Corvette. It will also be my first V8 RWD. I'm glad I found my self in a situation at this time that I will be able to get the last model year of the C5. My reasoning is simple. It all has to do with Bugs. All car makers have this problem. The first couple of years they find numerous of problems. With it being the last it will be ,as they, ""The Best Vette Yet!"""

I do agree they should have made it more different than just a paint job and some carbon fiber parts. But, Americans, like collectables. They'll pay more for them now and in the future, they'll be worth even more.
 I agree..

Although the car looks great, how many different variations of cars do manufacturers make? Does Ferrari have a dozen different versions of the Marrenallo and sell them according to demand. And what about the myo2 rex'. they had the Sti, another japenese rex sti, the S202 had alot of up-spec equipment. Also the last edition rex before the my03 came in, the Subaru WRX STI limited. Not to mention a dozen different rally spec models. now y do they release so many different ones?

"I've never understood why American manufacturers make so many ""commemorative"" editions and all that kind of thing, which are technically no different at all to the standard car. This looks great, it really does, and I like the little modifications, such as the very clever carbon bonnet, but what does it really achieve? Nothing! The Z06 is great, and I love it dearly, but I wish Chevrolet would just make a few minor alterations to a car celebrating such history. It doesn't have to be too extreme, just perhaps 50 more horsepower or something. Anything to make it worthwhile spending more money than a standard car!!!"
